ATL Young Adults March Speaker: Sr. Kathryn Berger on the Global Refugee Crisis

Guest speaker Kathryn Berger, SSND, the Volunteer and Outreach Specialist with the Minnesota Council of Churches Refugee Services will share about Welcoming the Stranger: From a Global to a Personal Perspective on Refugee Resettlement. Special guest Ms. Okunyi Agid, a former refugee from the from the Gambella region of Ethiopia, will be sharing her personal story of ethnic persecution and escape from her country.

The speaker portion is open to everyone; invite your friends and family, whether they’re Catholic or simply interested in the subject.

Social time with free refreshments and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be provided for young adults ages 21-39, along with an opportunity to discuss the topic.
